Accommodations:

We have blocked off rooms at the Carolina Inn for both Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19. The cost will be $99 or $109 per night, depending on the room. If you want to stay at the Carolina Inn (which is conveniently located across the street from the church and is the location of the reception), you should call and reserve a room in the Welfley block as soon as possible. Other hotels close to the action are the Holiday Inn (919/929-2171), Omni Europa (1-800-THE OMNI) and The Siena (1-800-223-7379). Room rates vary from cheaper (Holiday Inn) to more expensive (The Siena).

Transportation:

If you are flying into NC, the closest airport is the Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) Airport. USAir and Midway are the airport's major carriers. For links to all airline web sites, click here.

To get to downtown Chapel Hill from the airport, hail a taxi ($28 a carload, one-way) or take the airport's R&G Shuttle ($20 each, roundtrip). The trip is 18 miles.

Editor's Note: Don't forget to head to the "Time Out" during your stay. This 24-hour-a-day Chapel Hill mainstay has the best chicken and biscuit sandwiches you will ever eat. Best of all, it's only a block from the Carolina Inn.
